Preparation

Procedure

The buccal fat removal procedure takes around 45 minutes.

The surgeon removes the amount of buccal fat for the desired result you are looking for.
The incision is closed with dissolvable sutures.
The process is then repeated on the other cheek.

After the Procedure

Recovery after the buccal fat removal procedure takes two to three weeks. The final result may take longer. You may experience facial swelling, which will gradually resolve in a week. The final results will usually appear after two months.
